On Thursday 4th November, the Embassy of Japan was invited to St. Joseph's Convent San Fernando to conduct a Calligraphy demonstration for the school's Japanese Lingual and Cultural Club. Many students participated in learning the art of calligraphy, which was taught by volunteers Mrs. Kazuko Rankine and Mrs. Chen. Students wrote their names using japanese characters while being fascinated by the history and elegance of calligraphy.
The Embassy agreed to visit the school in the future to conduct more sessions with the Japanese club.
